Found in moist floodplains, riversides, pastures and thickets, Blue Vervain offers blue-purple candelabra-shaped panicles on 5' stems in mid summer. Will form small colonies and reseed sporadically. Best in full sun but will tolerate part sun/shade. Attracts bees, Buckeye butterfly and Verbena moths. Easy to germinate.
