Ever wished to wild harvest seed for at home propagation or perhaps to spread in your backyard? In this workshop you will learn how to identify when seed is ready for collection and how best to collect, clean and store seed. This class will begin with a short talk followed by hands-on identifying, collecting and learning to clean seed.
Seed saving is an ancient practice and one that has been used to preserve biodiversity and abundance for thousands of years. We look forward to sharing this practice with you.
Please bring sturdy shoes, hand pruners or scissors and a paper bag or envelope to hold your seed.
